South African Writer Brings The Names Of Allah To Life In Poetry Using Examples From Everyday Life That Often Go Unnoticed

TEMPE, AZ—The Beautiful Names will have readers losing themselves in the stunning illustrations which vividly depict Africa in all its glory and the lyrical words of each poem of the 20 poems in this beautiful book of poetry. Children will love reading about a little deformed elephant that teaches them about Al Wadud - The Loving, while a new-born baby helps in understanding Al Musawwiru – The Fashioner of Shapes. Readers will learn about the man who killed a hundred people and still found redemption.

South African writer, Saaleha Bhamjee, “I have employed the entire universe to demonstrate in The Beautiful Names the manifestations of 20 of the 99 Names of Allah. Each poem explores a different attribute of Allah, using examples from our everyday lives. The rhyming poems are complimented by stunning full colour illustrations created by the well-known Irish artist, Shirley Gavin. All poems are based on the Qur’an and authentic Hadith.”

“Alhamdulillah! This is awesome! The remedies aimed for the child psyches without and within!”– Shafinaaz Hassim – Author of the best selling book, Daughters Are Diamonds
