About the Authors
Linda D. Delgado, known by many as Widad, is a Muslim revert, the mother of three, grandmother of eight, and great grandmother of one sweet granddaughter. She is a graduate of the University of Phoenix and retired as a Sergeant in 2000 from the Arizona Department of Public Safety. Widad is an award winning author of the Islamic Rose Books series and the owner-publisher of Muslim Writers Publishing: a traditional Muslim publishing house focusing its publishing efforts on producing high quality Islamic Fiction books for youth, teens and adults.
Shirley Gavin Anjum lives in Ireland with her husband and four children. She converted to Islam in her twenties. Among her illustration works are book covers for the award winning Islamic Rose Books series authored by Linda D. Delgado, Star Writers authored by Amatullah Al-Marwani, The Beautiful Names authored by Saaleha Bhamjee, and Muslim Teens in Pitfalls and Pranks authored by Maryam Mahmoodian.
